The Strickland Youth Center

The James T. Strickland Youth Center is a Mobile County Detention facility for teens.  The Juvenile Team handles all delinquent, dependent, truancy, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child in need of supervision cases for juveniles under the age of 18, with a few exceptions.  Goals of the team are to prevent future criminal activity and help juveniles understand that there are definite consequences for their actions. The team consists of two assistant district attorneys and two trial coordinators which handle all juvenile cases. 

Wings of Life and the Dove Foundation hold two services per week at the Strickland Center.
